Curiosity Gave The Cat Seven Lives

Somewhere along the way, curiosity got a bad rep.
“Curiosity killed the cat” wasn’t coined by the brave.
It was likely whispered as a threat by those who didn’t want to be seen too closely.
Who needed the status quo to stay unquestioned.

And so the good ones, the decent ones,  the safe ones, learned to stay in their lane.
To not ask too much.
To keep their brilliance dim enough to stay out of trouble and survive.

And taking this into your work and genius in the world..

Here’s the truth…
It’s not curiosity that will unravel your business.
It’s operating on autopilot.

It’s assuming you’ve already figured it out so switching off to possibilities.
It’s running at speed with strategies that were never designed to fit you.
It’s choosing safety over activated aliveness.

Because my dear icon, real business is a dance.
And curiosity is what keeps you in tune with the music.

When you’re curious about your audience, you’ll see what they’re really aching for.
When you’re curious about yourself as a leader and a guide, you’ll meet the edges of your next expansion.
Curiosity about what’s actually working will direct you to the path where you stop spinning, and start building something that feels like yours.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected, this is your permission slip:

Come back to the questions.
Come back to the wild wonder.
Come back to the place where your business feels like a conversation with your soul.
